Emma and Jason have some challenging marital issues, primarily around trust and communication. Jason plans a serene and secluded getaway in the picturesque Smoky Mountains of North Carolina for the couple to spend some much-needed quality time together.

Unbeknownst to the couple, they become the targets of a shapeshifting creature. This malevolent entity assumes their forms, creating a web of confusion and paranoia.

As Jason and Emma's fear of each other grows, they teeter on the edge of madness, unsure of who to trust until it just might be too late to save, not only their marriage but their lives.
